Crossroads Counseling Inc. was founded in 1990 and is one of the most inclusive dual diagnosis treatment facilities in Clinton, Lycoming, Centre, Northumberland, Columbia, and Tioga counties along with being a Center of Excellence in Pennsylvania. We believe in treating the whole person in any way we can. We offer a variety of services including individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, psychiatric services, wellness services with on staff nurses, certified recovery specialists, prison services, school services, community- based services, domestic violence intervention programs, and medicated assisted therapy. We have a wide variety of diverse counselors who use different counseling approaches like EMDR, attachment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and many other techniques to focus on each patient’s needs.

To be a successful therapist, candidates should have strong communication skills, excellent documentation skills, team player, and is a helpful and positive presence in the workplace. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Therapists must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, therapists should have a genuine desire to help others. CROSSROADS COUNSELING, INC. is currently accepting resumes for Part-time, Full-time and Fee for Service Co-Occurring Therapists in it's Lock Haven office.

Co-Occurring Therapist Responsibilities:

· Facilitating individual and family therapy.

· Provide case management services.

· Deal and assist with crisis situations.

· Assess and Evaluate appropriate level of care using ASAM criteria.

· Use the Electronic Charting System for all documentation.

· Maintain polite and professional communication via phone and e-mail.

· Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure excellent patient care.

Co-Occurring Therapist Requirements:

· Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the human service field (psychology, sociology, criminal justice, counseling, social work, family studies). Master's preferred

· Prior counseling experience preferred.

· Excellent communication, computer, and phone skills.

· Attention to detail.

· Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for all.

. Must work in the office at all times.
