Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our educational team in North Easton, MA. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and educational success of students by providing psychological assessments, counseling, and interventions.

Position: School Psychologist
Location: North Easton, MA
Age Group: All
Duration: The whole school year – 180 days
Days per Week : 5
Shift: 7.5 hrs/day OR 8hrs/day
Schedule: 5x7.5 shifts OR 5x8
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5- 40hrs/week

Duties

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Provide individual and group counselling to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement Individualised Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Offer crisis intervention services to support students in distress or experiencing behavioral issues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on topics related to mental health, behavioral management, and support for students with disabilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student assessments, interventions, and progress while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to provide support and resources for their children's mental health needs.
  • Advocate for the rights of students with disabilities and promote inclusive practices within the school environment.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid Massachusetts state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological testing methods and assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations.
