Social Worker – Outpatient Pediatric Oncology / Hematology / BMT - CHONY - Days
Pediatric hematology/oncology specialists at NewYork-Presbyterian combine expertise with compassion when caring for every patient — and his or her family — who walks through our doors. There are special expertise in the treatment of children and adolescents whose disease has relapsed despite prior therapies. The goal is not only to provide effective treatment, but to return children to lives that are as normal and productive as possible, so they can grow up to be healthy adults. Families come to us from all over the world for our expertise.
We are seeking a Social Worker for our Outpatient Oncology Service that includes Hematology and BMT. Experience a place where Social Workers are respected. Utilize your experience to provide a variety of psychosocial services for patients and families from across the world. Assist them in enhancing their capabilities of coping with illness and daily functioning. Here, you will experience all the reasons why you entered such a rewarding field.
This is Monday – Friday 9AM – 5PM day shift position
Preferred Criteria
Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

$41.77-$55.93/Hourly

Preferred Criteria
- At least one year of outpatient oncology experience
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
