A full-time, onsite opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at a K-12 school located in San Jose, CA. This contract position is full school year (CSY) and specifically involves managing a high school caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably with a focus on high school-aged learners
- Ability to develop and implement behavior intervention plans and conduct functional behavior assessments
- Strong data collection, analysis, and communication skills
- Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide behavior analytic services to high school students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans to support student goals
- Monitor student progress through data collection and adjust plans as needed
- Train and support school staff and families on behavior strategies and implementation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration to ensure integrated services
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards for behavior analysis services
