Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with Autism and behavioral challenges, implementing therapeutic strategies to promote positive behavior and enhance their quality of life. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis and patient care will be essential in supporting our clients' development and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and progress.
- Provide direct support to children in various settings, including home and school environments.
- Collect and analyze research data to track behavioral changes and effectiveness of interventions.
- Collaborate with special education professionals and families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while documenting patient information.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or behavioral challenges.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and the ability to perform patient assessments.
- Familiarity with research data collection methods related to behavioral health.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment for clients.
