Juno Genetics is a high volume, clinical diagnostic and clinical-based research laboratory. Our state-of-the-art facilities in Basking Ridge, New Jersey have the latest equipment available to provide a comprehensive range of genetic services, including preimplantation genetic testing.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated genetic counselor to join our talented staff in our preimplantation genetic testing laboratory. The right candidate must be detail-oriented, demonstrate effective time-management skills, as well as excellent communication skills.

Summary of Duties

• Provide pre-test counseling to explain the process of preimplantation genetic testing for monogenic diseases (PGT-M).
• Assist patients and providers with questions regarding PGT.
• Facilitate case preparation for PGT-M which includes data entry, review of clinical genetic reports from outside centers and sample coordination.
• Maintain excellent communication and documentation within Juno Genetics and to referring centers.
• Provide client education and support and act as advocate on behalf of the patient.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate degree from an accredited genetic counseling program
• ABGC Certification or a “Board Eligible” status
• Current state licensure or application upon eligibility and a willingness to obtain licensure in other states as needed
• Strong interest in reproductive genetics and working within a clinical diagnostic laboratory setting
• This is an on-site position located in our Basking Ridge location
