Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Memory Care Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our Memory Care residents in assisted living community. This position requires a strong understanding of care plans, medication administration, and the unique needs of individuals Alzheimer's disease and dementia. The Memory Care Coordinator will work collaboratively with staff, families, and healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care in accordance with established protocols.
• Coordinate services for residents in a memory care setting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in senior care.
• Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare providers.
• Manage operations within the facility to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Provide training and leadership to staff on best practices in dementia care and other specialized areas.
• Advocate for residents’ rights and well-being while promoting independence.
• Work in conjunction with Activity Manager with coordination, direction and delivery of wellness and recreation programs to meet specific needs of each and all memory care residents.
• You will ensure residents' lives are maintained to the extent possible by providing programs and events that encourage engagement and social interaction as well as providing hands-on involvement in programs.

Experience
Candidates should possess a background that includes:

• Experience in memory care in an assisted living environment.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's and dementia care practices.
• Previous roles in a supervisory position within memory care settings.
• Proven leadership skills within memory care community's.
