Director of Social Work - Nursing Home

Located in Huntington, NY

Salary $70K to $75K Per Year *Based On Experience*

Responsibilities of the Director of Social Work:

• Plans and directs a comprehensive social services program which provides support services for residents and families.

• Responsible for coordinating all admissions and discharges to ensure facility census is kept at its maximum capacity.

• Participates in an interdisciplinary team approach to better serve the needs of the facility population.

Qualifications/Requirements of the Director of Social Work:

• Must have BSW or MSW

• Must have prior experience as a Director of Social Work

• Must have long term care experience

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
