Medical Director / Psychiatrist (Part-Time)

Hybrid (1 day/wk on-site)

Are you a Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist with a passion for community mental health and the drive to lead a mission-driven team? Join a long-standing nonprofit organization that has been transforming the lives of children, adolescents, and families across Greater Philadelphia for over 50 years.

We are actively seeking a Part-Time Psychiatrist / Medical Director to lead clinical excellence across outpatient and community-based behavioral health services. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role while maintaining a manageable caseload—all within a flexible, supportive, and purpose-driven environment.

Schedule: Hybrid; Primarily remote with 1 day/wk on-site

  • Part-time, 20 hours/wk with full-time potential
  • VERY flexible scheduling available, (8 or 10 hour days)
  • No On-Call, Evenings or Weekends: Focus on what you do best, high-quality patient care without burnout. Clinical Duties Leadership & Oversight

  • Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
  • Make an Impact: Help set the standard of psychiatric care for underserved populations—children, teens, and young adults.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside experienced clinicians, psychiatric assistants, CRNPs, and a seasoned medical leadership team.
  • Collaborate with families and clinicians to develop treatment plans that support long-term wellness.
  • Utilize a fully integrated EMR and prescribing platform.
  • Serve as Medical Director for psychiatric programs across outpatient, school-based, and community services.
  • Approve clinical process improvements and co-sign staff performance reviews.
  • Support compliance with state and managed care organization requirements.
  • Board-Certified or Board Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
  • Active Pennsylvania Medical License
  • 3+ years of leadership or administrative experience
  • Technical proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with Medicaid populations strongly preferred
  • DEI certification a plus (or willingness to complete training)
  • Commitment to ethical, community-based mental healthcare
  • Up to $300/hour compensation
