Schedule:
This is a full-time, on-site position with a regular schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. The Clinical Supervisor also participates in a rotating on-call schedule with the clinical leadership team, with all on-call coverage able to be completed remotely. To support this responsibility, Clinical Supervisors are eligible for a hybrid work schedule during their assigned on-call week, allowing them to flex certain days to remote work while ensuring overall on-site presence and coverage needs are met.
Salary:
At Lincoln Recovery, we value transparency and fairness in compensation. The pay range for this position is $80,000 – $90,000 annually, based on a combination of education, licensure, and relevant experience. A full clinical license is required for this role. Candidates with advanced experience and strong leadership skills may qualify for compensation at the higher end of the range.
In addition to base pay, this position offers quarterly bonuses tied to key performance indicators (KPIs), a CEU incentive program, and access to our clinical incentive training program, which can be applied toward tuition reimbursement.

Role Summary:
We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Clinical Supervisor to support our growing clinical team at Lincoln Recovery. This role plays a key part in shaping the care we provide to individuals navigating substance use, mental health, or co-occurring challenges, and in supporting the clinicians who walk alongside them.
As Clinical Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Clinical Director to provide guidance and oversight to therapists, ensure high-quality clinical services, and support the growth and development of our team. You’ll offer supervision, perform clinical assessments, review documentation and treatment plans, and help train both new and existing team members. You’ll also play an active role in maintaining compliance, improving clinical programming, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and daily support to the clinical team in coordination with the Clinical Director, ensuring quality care for clients with substance use, mental health, or co-occurring needs.
- Review and co-sign clinical documentation submitted by unlicensed or provisionally licensed Therapists, Addiction Counselors, and Group Facilitators, ensuring compliance and accuracy within the EMR platform.
- Assist team members with treatment coordination, discharge planning, and crisis response.
- Monitor client progress through indirect observation and clinical supervision.
- Develop and implement program curriculum and training materials to support clinical education and skill-building.
- Manage the clinical team schedule, assign group coverage, and coordinate staff coverage for call-offs, PTO, or vacancies.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support clinical and facility needs outside of standard hours.
- Provide direct client care, including individual or group therapy, when coverage is needed due to staff absence or vacancy.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback, and support the professional development of clinical staff.
- Review and approve timecards for clinical team members in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain and update the clinical caseload tracking sheet when new clients are admitted, ensuring appropriate therapist assignments and caseload balance.
- Schedule and assign group facilitators to ensure consistent and therapeutic group coverage.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, clinical discussions, and monthly trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director to support overall clinical operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing education and clinical support related to substance use, mental health, or co-occurring disorders.
- Previous supervisory experience in a clinical or behavioral health setting, with the ability to lead and support a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Demonstrated experience in crisis management, including de-escalation techniques and risk assessment.
- Skilled in conducting clinical assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and evaluating intervention effectiveness to support individualized care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team; demonstrates strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintains appropriate professional boundaries and models ethical clinical behavior.
- Culturally responsive, with sensitivity to religious, ethnic, and individual differences.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, 12-step recovery, and other relevant treatment approaches is preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
- Therapist License: LCPC, LCSW, LFMT, PhD, or PsyD
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain
- Must successfully complete Background Check, Drug Screen, and TB Test
Physical Requirements:
- Light lifting, light walking, able to walk up and down stairs, and extended periods of time sitting.
