We are seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst/Licensed BCBA or a BCABA to join our Behavior Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis Team.
Full time positions (In clinic/In home) available in Chula Vista, CA.
Make a difference working with children and adolescents diagnosed with developmental delays. Help families to support their children by providing behavior support, helping increase communication, and helping increase age level independent living skills.
You will be part of a collaborative clinical team delivering treatment in the home and community supporting families where they need help the most!
Responsibilities:
- Providing support to families and deliver treatment through the modality of ABA
- Delivering clinical supervision to Behavior Technicians / Registered Behavior Technicians
- Collect data on treatment outcomes and efficacies
- Communicate with collaborating providers through care coordination
- Educate parents through psycho-education about their child's disorder
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare and educational providers
- Deliver 1:1 client care in the home and community
- Attend weekly staff meetings and clinical supervision
- Provide clinical experience needed to technicians looking to advance in the behavioral health field
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate collaborative team approach to treatment
- Delivery monthly trainings to staff of topics in ABA
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Education or Psychology (or related field) with BCBA credential
- Ability to write and deliver treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, program books
- Ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage schedule and organizational skills
- Professionalism and ability to work in client homes while maintaining boundaries
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 or more years experience in management and supervisor role
- Completed supervisor coursework and able to provide supervision to students pursuing BCBA
- Understanding of RBT coursework and ability to provide proficiency tests to employees pursuing RBT credential
- Ability to deliver assessment tools such as intake assessments, psychosocial, VB-MAPP, ABLLS, AFLS, etc.
- Higher preference for candidates with proficiency in a wide range of mental health diagnoses
Required for job:
- Reliable transportation to get to client homes and in-clinic work where/when needed
