Job Title: Senior Globalscape MFT Engineer (Consultant)

Location: Irvine, CA Onsite (5 days/week) (Only CA Locals)

Duration: 12 months, starting October 1, 2025, with potential extension through December 2026

Required Skills & Expertise

Advanced configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of EFT Server, DMZ Gateway, expert level AWE code development and workflows that allow heavy customization for a variety of file transfer scenarios, and expert level performance tuning (parallelism, memory, channels, etc).

Deep understanding of SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, encryption/decryption, and key management.

Deep understanding of Operating Systems, File Systems, Network Adapters, Network Interface Cards, IO, latency, throughput, frame size, block size, bandwidth, etc.

Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Unix shell scripting, github, and integration & automation tools like Harness, Terraform, and SLM release.

Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk and DataDog) performance tuning, and incident response.

Ability to maintain Confluence pages, dashboards, and JIRA workflows for visibility and governance.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and lead initiatives.

Experience Expectations

10+ years in IT with at least 5 years focused on MFT technologies.

Proven track record in designing and deploying complex MFT solutions in enterprise environments.

Familiarity with audit processes, access control, and compliance frameworks.
