About Job

The Genetic Counselor I will provide genetic counseling services for a variety of cancer syndromes while communicating with patients, other genetic counselors and health care professionals to review family histories and determine eligibility for genetic testing and research protocols. Additional effort will go towards recruitment into genetic research protocols and involvement with student training and education. This position may also involve participation or coordination of special projects, such as the Mismatch Repair Testing Program.

Education
Masters Degree: in Genetic Counseling or equivalent (Required)

Experience
1 Year experience in cancer genetic counseling. (Preferred)

License/Certifications
ABGC - Amer Bd of Genetic Counseling (Required)
GC-LIC - PA Genetic Counselor License (Required)
