Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. You will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and providing support to clients and their families in a therapeutic setting.
We are hiring BCBA's part and full-time in the following locations: Denver, Colorado, Aurora, Denver, Thornton, Commerce City, Northglenn, Erie, and Lochbuie.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on data collection and analysis.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behavior changes.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral interventions and strategies.
- Monitor client progress through regular data collection and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in intake processes for new clients, ensuring thorough understanding of their needs.
- Stay current with best practices in behavioral health and special education.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and documentation practices.
- Ability to conduct patient assessments effectively while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of client challenges.
- Experience working with people with autism or other disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously.
