Job Overview
BeeFocus IOP LLC is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) to join our multidisciplinary team. This role focuses on providing counseling services to adults, children, and elderly clients within our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The ideal candidate will work closely with the Program Coordinator to deliver therapeutic interventions, develop treatment plans, and support clients in achieving their personal and clinical goals.
Duties
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions as part of the IOP.
- Collaborate with clients to develop treatment plans and measurable goals.
- Utilize evidence-based practices, including motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral techniques, to empower clients.
- Provide crisis intervention and management as needed.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and document progress accurately.
- Coordinate care with other clinical team members, including case managers, nurses, and social workers.
- Advocate for client needs and ensure access to appropriate resources and support.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and progress reviews.
- Assist in facilitating psychoeducation groups and skill-building workshops.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator or Clinical Director.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health, or a related field.
- Active Texas licensure as an LPC or LPC-Associate under supervision.
- Experience in behavioral health, counseling, or IOP settings preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care programs is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in crisis management and intervention techniques.
- Familiarity with child welfare, adult mental health, and elderly care populations.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in intensive outpatient or partial hospitalization programs.
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing and other evidence-based modalities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health practices and best standards of care.
- Knowledge of workforce development programs and community resources is a plus.
