About Job
We are seeking a Psychologist II (Clinical Psychologist) to join our team in Dallas. In this role, you will perform advanced psychological work under the direction of the State Hospital Director of Psychology. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating psychological activities and programs
- Conducting evaluations, diagnosing, and counseling clients
- Providing clinical supervision and consultation
- Conducting psychological research
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individual or group counseling to address mental health issues
- Administering and interpreting psychological tests
- Supervising other psychologists or mental health professionals
- Implementing specialized treatment programs
- Developing training programs for staff and clients
- Designing behavior modification and skill acquisition plans
- Coordinating mental health services
- Providing training and education to multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in psychology and licensed as a Psychologist in Texas
- Experience in psychological work and conducting psychotherapy
- Knowledge of DSM diagnostic criteria and psychotherapeutic modalities
- Ability to use psychological instruments and operate a computer
