Full-Time School Psychologist Chester, PA
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time contract position with a school district in Chester, PA. This position will serve a K12 caseload, providing essential psychological and educational support to students, staff, and families.
Position Details:
Full-time, school-based contract role
K12 caseload
Must have prior school-based experience
Renewal opportunities may be available based on performance
Must meet all Pennsylvania state and local licensure/certification requirements
Experience with special education students and families is highly valued
Responsibilities may include:
Conducting psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
Developing individualized recommendations and intervention strategies to support student learning and development
Participating in multidisciplinary IEP team meetings, assisting with eligibility determinations, and contributing to goal setting
Providing counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support to students as needed
Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents to create strategies that foster academic and emotional growth
Monitoring student progress and maintaining compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines through detailed documentation
Offering training and resources to school staff and families to enhance student support services
