A professional opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide teletherapy and 1:1 support at a high school level. This contract position, located in Ridgefield, WA, focuses on leave coverage and is set to begin as soon as possible, continuing through December 19th. The workweek consists of five days, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Responsibilities will include managing a manageable caseload of high school students, conducting tri-annual evaluations, administering special education assessments and recommendations, delivering direct therapy, and case managing 504 plans. This role demands thorough OSPI certification to ensure compliance with educational standards and specialized needs.
Preferred qualifications and experience include:
- Valid OSPI certification for School Psychologists
- Proven ability to conduct special education evaluations and provide recommendations
- Experience delivering teletherapy and one-on-one interventions
- Familiarity with 504 plans and the case management process
- Capability to work both remotely and onsite based on a negotiable hybrid schedule
