A school-based social worker position is available in a K-12 educational setting located in Aurora, IL. This contract role spans the entire school year and requires a skilled professional dedicated to supporting students social and emotional development within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
  • Assess and address social, emotional, and behavioral needs impacting academic performance.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans.
  • Connect students and families to community resources and support services.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification in social work.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in school or related settings.
  • Strong understanding of child development and educational systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
