A school psychologist opportunity is available in Des Plaines, IL, serving students in grades 4 and 5 at an elementary school for the full school year from August 2025 to May 2026. This contract position involves a caseload typical of an elementary school setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades 4 and 5
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement intervention plans
- Providing guidance and counseling services as needed
- Monitoring student progress and adapting strategies accordingly
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to a supportive school environment
Qualifications:
- Illinois School Psychologist license is required
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and efficiently
Work schedule:
- 36.25 hours per week
- Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM
- Contract length aligns with the full school year (August 2025 to May 2026)
