A school psychologist opportunity is available in Des Plaines, IL, serving students in grades 4 and 5 at an elementary school for the full school year from August 2025 to May 2026. This contract position involves a caseload typical of an elementary school setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades 4 and 5
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement intervention plans
• Providing guidance and counseling services as needed
• Monitoring student progress and adapting strategies accordingly
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to a supportive school environment

Qualifications:

• Illinois School Psychologist license is required
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and efficiently

Work schedule:

• 36.25 hours per week
• Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM
