Job Summary
The Care Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and effective care. This position involves coordinating patient care activities, managing medical records, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and experience in a medical or dental office setting.
Duties
- Coordinate patient care by scheduling appointments, managing follow-ups, and ensuring timely communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling correspondence related to patient care.
- Educate patients about their treatment options and provide support throughout their healthcare journey.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient experiences and address any concerns that may arise.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office or dental office is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in providing medical administrative support, including data entry and record management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
