The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Nevada Behavioral Health is a key member of our clinical team, responsible for providing high-quality behavioral health services to clients. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to individuals and families to support their mental and emotional well-being.

Assessment: Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with clients to establish achievable goals.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidencebased therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy, to address clients' mental health concerns.
- Crisis Intervention: Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute emotional distress or in need of immediate support.
- Case Management: Coordinate and advocate for clients' access to appropriate resources and services, including referrals to external agencies when necessary.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive care.
- Education: Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and coping strategies.
- Ethical Practice: Adhere to the highest ethical standards, maintaining client confidentiality and respecting cultural diversity.
- Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of clinical social work through ongoing professional development and training.
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Experience and Education
- 23 years of clinical social work experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
