Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis and will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role requires a commitment to improving the quality of life for clients through effective behavioral therapy and patient care.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions using Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to promote positive behavior changes.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records related to patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary based on data collected.
- Provide 10-15% supervision to assigned cases/technicians.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst is required.
- NYS LBA REQUIRED
- Insurance Based Experience
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining patient records.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to conduct patient assessments and develop tailored behavioral therapy plans.
- A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of individual needs.
- Telehealth/Hybrid Experience
