Enlightened Recovery is seeking an Intake Counselor. This position is responsible for performing client care activities and will assist with providing group therapy, case management, and assessments, as requested by the Clinical Director. The Intake Counselor collaborates with the Treatment Team in the formulation of the Master Treatment Plan and assists in coordinating discharge planning. A CADC Intern is preferred for this position.

• Preferably a minimum of 1 year experience with chemical dependency and/or co-occurring clients, preferably in an out-patient setting.
• Actively working towards certification to practice clinical discipline.
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a health-related degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current and valid NJ driver license.
• Knowledge of Alcohol-Drug Free Workplace Policies.
• Minimum of 2 years in Recovery.
• Pre-employment Background Check & Drug Screen.
