About Job

Eden Centers for Hope and Healing, ECHH, is a movement to eradicate the trafficking and selling of human beings. We create systemic change through: youth prevention; education and legislative advocacy; recovery and reentry services for victims, including emergency, transitional, and long-term shelter; and a lifelong community of care for survivors.

The Intake Coordinator position is a full time, salary position that is primarily responsible for coordinating all admissions and intakes for Eden Centers clients. The Intake Coordinator is a member of the clinical team, working to identify appropriate clients and conduct the intake process to welcome the clients into our program. The Intake Coordinator reports directly to the Chief Clinical Officer. This position may be asked to perform tasks not specifically outlined in this job description on a day-to-day basis, as needed.

General Responsibilities

serve as a role model to guests as to appropriate behavior within the EEC

ensure guests’ safety at all times,

assist guests in developing social and functional skills that are part of their recovery and healing-centered engagement,

encourage guests to engage in setting goals that meet their current and future needs.

Model EEC values of trauma-informed and healing centered engagement in interactions with guests.

Model effective coping techniques and self-help strategies.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

Track and monitor all hotline phone calls

Input hotline calls into our Case Management System (CMS).

Review referrals and complete appropriate follow-up.

Complete assessments for potential clients.

Schedule and conduct interviews for our long term program clients.

Coordinate arrangements for EEC, long term, and housing clients to the EEC.

Complete the intake process and orient new clients to the program.

Input intakes correctly into our CMS

Ensure all client’s intakes are currently inputted into our CMS.

Ensure welcome baskets and welcome packets are ready for the clients.

Safety plan with clients during the intake process.

Crisis management as needed

Qualifications:

The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field including social work, counseling, etc.

Work related experience- 2 years in a clinical setting

Experience completing intakes or BioPyschoSocials.

Experience and understanding of trauma-informed care

Preferences:

The preferred candidate will hold a clinical license.

The preferred candidate will have experience working with survivors of human trafficking or other at risk populations including domestic violence or sexual assault.

Additional Requirements:

Background check; clean drug screen upon offer of employment

Ability to maintain personal boundaries

Beginning knowledge of technology and aptitude for learning case management data system

Ability to lift 10 pounds

Driver’s license, insurance, and clean driving record

Salary is commensurate with experience.
