Overview:

The Community Programs division of WJCS is currently seeking a full-time Coordinator of Behavioral Services and Training Support. In this role, you will work with developmentally disabled adults who reside in our twelve community residences in Westchester County. The salary range is $75,000 - $90,000.


Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is the largest community outpatient mental health provider in Westchester County, dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Founded in 1943, WJCS provides a vast range of supportive community services each year to 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds. Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of Functional Behavior Assessments, Behavior Support Plans, staff training, data analysis and summary reports.
  • Develop and implement Behavior Plans
  • Consult with psychiatrists and other specialists, and attending meetings as required.
  • Complete Functional Behavior Assessments as needed and if applicable administer tests such as the ABAS and DSDS.
  • Participate on Human Rights Committee, Admissions Committee, Clinical Conference and attend other meetings such as, clinical meetings, CFA’s/life plans and IDTs etc.

    Requirements:

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field with minimum three years of experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities (DD/ID).
  • BCBA required/LBA preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of principles and techniques used in delivery of services to developmentally disabled individuals.
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites in Westchester County.
