SUMMARY:
Easterseals of Northeast Ohio is looking for an energetic and compassionate part-time Adult Day Care Manager to serve our clients and help make a difference. This position would oversee the Adult Day Care programs at our Youngstown and Lisbon locations.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Adult Day Care Manager is responsible for developing and implementing program objectives and managing the service delivery of client care within the Adult Day Care programs. The manager is responsible for both internal and external customers for courteous, accurate, and timely service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES (FUNCTIONS) INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Provide oversight to all adult day centers to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Assist with budget development and strategic goal development.
- Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory standards relating to Medicare CARF, ODA, ODH, VA, and other regulatory bodies as they apply to all Home and Community-Based Services.
- Ensure that the highest level of clinical care is provided at all daycare locations.
- Ensure appropriate staffing is maintained and ratio is followed.
- Maintain clinical awareness and the ability to coordinate program duties with employees.
- Perform client intake and admissions at Easterseals or within client homes.
- Assess the needs of the client and create a plan of care.
- Sign plans of care created by an LPN as needed.
- Maintain compliance with CARF-required tasks and procedures.
- Complete employee orientation, training, and annual evaluations.
- Submit billing and required reports in a timely manner.
- Provide clinical supervision as needed to the LPN.
- Perform nursing functions, including medication administration, in accordance with standards of licensure for the profession.
- Maintain effective communication with community agencies, organizations, and referral sources to facilitate client service and to provide education and support to consumers and families.
- Coordinate and attend team conferences with regulatory Case Managers (i.e. Care Star, PASSPORT, etc.)
- Adhere to the standards of conduct, established Code of Ethics, confidentiality, privacy, and security of protected health information, and all policies and procedures of Easterseals.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings, in-service training, and competency sessions as required for the position.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current, valid, unrestricted nursing (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience as a supervisor.
- Experience in the delivery of services for adults.
- Experience with regulatory and accreditation standards associated with service delivery.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must have proof of auto insurance.
- A criminal background check must meet any state requirements for involvement in clinical programs.

EQUIPMENT USED/MACHINERY REQUIRED TO OPERATE:
- General office equipment, including computers and applicable software programs.
- Medical equipment utilized in the delivery of client care.
- Operate a motor vehicle safely
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Full range of body motion, including handling and lifting of clients.
- May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds to assist in the delivery of client care.
- Frequently requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
- Potential exposure to blood and body fluids, communicable diseases, chemicals, and repetitive motions.
- Required to assist clients with duties based on the individual Plan of Care while attending the Adult Day Care and participating in community outings.
- Occasionally exposed to loud/noisy environments.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt $30 per hour
