INTERVIEWING NOW... JOB START DATE BEGINNING OF AUGUST

We are seeking a dedicated School Program Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Child Care, and managing school-age children. This role involves overseeing various aspects of school programs, including activities, behavior management, and supervising staff.

Must be dependable, self-starter, honest, caring and have a heart for children. Must Be available to work Monday-Friday 6am-830am & 3-6pm This is a Split Day Schedule!

WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!!! IF YOU LOVE SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN AND ARE AVAILABLE DURING PROGRAM HOURS THIS COULD BE THE CAREER YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!

Hours: 6am-830am & 3-6pm Monday-Friday & hours as needed during school days out. Additional hours are available in between shifts if desired.

Location: 3 positions available one at Kirkersville, Etna at LAKEWOOD Elementary Schools

Develops, Coordinates, And Implements an ongoing program of activities that contribute to the care, growth, and development of children.

Offers a program that meets the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of both the individual and the group.

Implements a daily program consistent with program goals and philosophy.

Interacts appropriately with the children.

Serves as a positive role model.

Follows procedures to safeguard the health and safety of the children.

Ensures positive parent & community contact and communication at all times.

Coordinates with the school site and ensures a positive working relationship

Maintains regular, positive, and effective communication with the school staff.

Maintains written records, reports, and files.

Observes, records, and reports significant undesirable children behaviors to either the executive director(s), Parents/Guardian, or appropriate authorities.

Receives and records tuition from parents.

Maintains the inventory of supplies and equipment.

Verifies staff timesheets.

Assures compliance with Day Care Licensing and all other local, state, and federal regulations.

Keeps staff informed of program goals and developments with children, parents, and Executive Director(s).

Partcipates in On-Going Trainings as requried by ODJFS Day Care Licensing at the Direction of WOW Administration

Education:

  • High school Diploma and 1 year experience working in a state-licensed program at and willing to obtain school-age Credential or CDA ( with our assistance)

  • OR have a current AA degree in ECE or a related field

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
