Job Description:

As a Mental Health Counselor at CTC, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals navigate their emotional challenges and develop effective coping strategies. You will wok in a supportive and collaborative environment, offering therapy and counseling services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and psychological needs.
Develop personalized treatment plans to address clients' unique concerns.
Provide individual counseling sessions.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate emotional growth.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensue comprehensive care.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mental health counseling.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in social work or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Active state license in Ohio: LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LSW, LISW, OR LISW-S
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Empathy and compassion for individuals facing substance use disorder and mental health challenges.
Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventions.
Strong ethical standards and adherence to professional codes of conduct.
