Job Description:
As a Mental Health Counselor at CTC, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals navigate their emotional challenges and develop effective coping strategies. You will wok in a supportive and collaborative environment, offering therapy and counseling services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and psychological needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans to address clients' unique concerns.
- Provide individual counseling sessions.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate emotional growth.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensue comprehensive care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mental health counseling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Active state license in Ohio: LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LSW, LISW, OR LISW-S
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Empathy and compassion for individuals facing substance use disorder and mental health challenges.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventions.
- Strong ethical standards and adherence to professional codes of conduct.
