Summary
The Student Clerical Assistant provides general administrative and clerical support to the main Psychology office. This role is ideal for a current university student seeking flexible, part-time work experience in a professional environment. The position requires attention to detail, a customer service mindset, and basic office skills.

Essential Functions
- Greeting and assist students, faculty, and visitors in person or by phone
- Answer and route phone calls or take messages as needed
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
- Assist with data entry, scanning, photocopying, and filing documents
- Prepare documents, packets, and mailings for meetings and events
- Maintain organization of office supplies and assist in inventory tracking
- Schedule appointments and reserve rooms as directed
- Run errands on campus, including document delivery or pickups
- Support event planning and execution for departmental activities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
- Must not be a Psychology major
- Must be a currently enrolled student at Bowling Green State University
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently
- Prior office experience is a plus but not required
