Position: Bilingual Victim Advocate Case Manager
Starting salary range: $21-$23 hourly DOE

Full Time - 1.0 FTE/40 Hours per week
Location: SABLE House Advocacy Office, Dallas, OR (position is not remote)

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
● Provides advocacy services to victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

● Assist survivors in developing safety plans. Provide support, information, referrals, case management and other advocacy assistance as requested by survivors. Assist survivors with problem solving barriers and accessing services and resources that they are entitled to.

● Provide education and support to survivors regarding domestic and sexual violence.

● Complete 40-hour Victim Advocacy Certification Training.

● Maintain strict survivor confidentiality

• Maintain statistical data as required by grants

● Participate in shared activities which may include hotline, outreach, staff meetings, trainings and community events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
● Fluent Bilingual Spanish/English (bicultural preferred)
● Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and/or experience providing advocacy and crisis intervention services.
● Demonstrated cultural competency around barriers to services faced by communities of color.
● Demonstrated ability in providing direct support, information and referral, crisis intervention, advocacy and education to victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence preferred.
● Strong communication skills.
● Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills.
