Job Summary:
The LPCC will provide clinical social work services, including assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and treatment planning, to inmates within the correctional facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working in forensic or correctional settings and be comfortable managing the unique challenges of this environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy to inmates
- Crisis intervention and management
- Collaborate with medical, security, and administrative staff to ensure integrated care
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and trainings
Qualifications:
- Current LPCC licensure in [State]
- Experience in correctional, forensic, or institutional social work preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and counseling skills
- Ability to work effectively in a secure, challenging environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
