Licensed Psychotherapist PT/FT Therapist

About the practice: Remote/Telehealth Therapy ONLY

You Can Do It, LLC is a growing private practice looking for an Permit-MHC who is interested in joining the company's vision of creating a group practice of inclusive and diverse therapists. Our mission is to expand and extend to reach out to individuals from all walks of life in need of mental health services with a commitment to utilizing a diversity, equality, and inclusion lens in our work.

The ideal candidate is willing to learn and develop their clinical skills. We will work together to develop your clinical interests and niche. Ideal candidates will be those who are committed to providing excellent clinical services and are aligned with the company's mission. We are looking for dedicated clinicians who would like to join a new practice and have the opportunity to contribute to its growth and development. You will be able to obtain hours and bi-weekly supervision.

The position pays for the clinical contact hours with clients. This position requires that the candidate has actively worked with adults at an internship or post-grad employment. Flexible working hours from home.

Job description:

  • Provide psychotherapy services to a caseload minimum of 12 and up to 30 clients for 60 minutes, including individuals, couples, and families. (Clinician will determine how many clients based on their schedule)
  • Maintains case notes, logs and all required documentation
  • Participates in weekly individual clinical supervision, administrative meetings, and other relevant meetings
  • Manage own caseload including scheduling, documentation, and diagnosing
  • Maintain up-to-date progress notes, correspondence regarding patient, treatment plans, and termination summaries within expected timeframes.
  • Participate in utilization review and quality improvement review.
  • Remote work teletherapy, with opportunity to work in-person if clinician would like.

What you will bring:

  • Must be able to provide a Permit in Mental Health Counseling in the state of NY or
  • Must be licensed in Marriage and family therapists (LMFT) in the state of NY or
  • Must be licensed in Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Sate of NY
  • Previous or current experience working in an outpatient clinic setting or hospital setting
  • Competence in working with people of color
  • Clinicians seeking experience in a private setting
  • Clinicians who are interested in working privately, but not ready or interested to be in a solo practice
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking, a plus! Including a Bonus for sessions done in Spanish
  • Ability to work independently
