General Summary
  • Recruits incoming first-year and transfer students with an emphasis on building relationships and providing exemplary customer service from inquiry to matriculation.

Major Duties
  • Effectively recruits undergraduate students within assigned in and out-of-state territories. Ensures recruitment and enrollment goals are met or exceeded. Monitors reports and develops timely strategies to move prospective students through the enrollment funnel.
  • Manages an assigned geographical territory. Identifies new opportunities and develops strategies to increase enrollment. Analyzes data and statistics to identify trends and patterns that affect recruitment. Measures effectiveness of recruitment tactics.
  • Promotes the University via high school visits, college fairs and on-campus programming. Remains current with enrollment management practices and best practices in recruitment communication technologies.
  • Engages in professional organizations that align with the University’s goals. Participates and engages with staff development activities.
  • Reads and evaluates applications to render admissions decisions.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution to be earned before date of hire.
  • One years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience in admission, advising, marketing or student affairs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
  • Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
