About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to support K-12 students in Detroit, MI, for the 2025-2026 school year. As part of our team, you’ll provide social-emotional support, advocate for student success, and collaborate with educators and families to create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans and interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success.
  • Facilitate small group and individual counseling sessions.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and behavior management strategies.
  • Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
  • Support students and families in accessing community resources.
Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Michigan School Social Work Certification
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $55,000–$75,000, based on experience (paid weekly)
