About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to support K-12 students in Detroit, MI, for the 2025-2026 school year. As part of our team, you’ll provide social-emotional support, advocate for student success, and collaborate with educators and families to create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.
Develop and implement individualized support plans and interventions.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success.
Facilitate small group and individual counseling sessions.
Assist with crisis intervention and behavior management strategies.
Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
Support students and families in accessing community resources.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Michigan School Social Work Certification
Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $55,000–$75,000, based on experience (paid weekly)
