Job Title: Inpatient Social Worker
Assignment Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
Location: Jackson, MI
Shift: 8a-4:30p, Rotating Schedule, 2-3 weekends per month required
Pay Rate: $35/hour

Job Summary:

- The Social Worker works with the psychiatrist and interdisciplinary team in developing and managing treatment plans.
- Serves as liaison in relation to patient care and needs, between the hospital, community, and insurers to facilitate access to clinical treatment for individuals.
- Provides social services to both adult and child/adolescent patients.
- Services include but are not limited to bio-psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, individual and family education and group.
- Therapy Social Workers provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed.
- Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient centered timely, efficient and equitable.
- Social workers also serve on designated committees and as qualified, may serve as field instructors for social work.

Job Requirements:

• 2-3 years social work experience
• Master's from accredited school of social work
• Current LMSW certification
• Previous travel experience
• Previous recent inpatient behavioral health experience
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to perform intake assessment
• Experience leading groups
• Experience charting in EMR/EMH system. Preferred: EPIC charting experience
• Discharge planning experience.
• Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19
