Overview
Ace Therapy Services LLC is an outpatient clinic located in Cypress, TX. Ace Therapy Services LLC assists in fulfilling school contract positions. We are seeking a Full time, Bilingual (English/Spanish), HYBRID Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) for the duration of the 2025-2026 school year, in BASTROP, TX.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Master’s degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Texas license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- In-depth knowledge of assessment methods for achievement, intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning in educational contexts.
- Understanding of prevention and intervention strategies, particularly behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with psycho-social development.
- Strong consultation abilities for interacting with teachers, parents, and students.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience providing psychological services within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments and observations to evaluate students' intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Determine eligibility for special education services based on federal and state guidelines.
- Create psychological evaluation reports and behavior management plans.
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to assist with placement decisions and the creation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP).
- May serve as a case manager and oversee the special education assessment process for assigned students.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling, as well as therapeutic interventions for students with identified issues.
- Offer consultation to school staff on mental health topics and assist in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
- Train school personnel on identifying and addressing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges in students.
- Meet with parents to discuss assessments and provide relevant background information.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to address the educational needs of students and interpret assessment data.
- Consult with external professionals, such as psychologists, psychiatrists, and community agencies, as needed.
Pay:
- Contract 1099 positions $75-$85/hour based on experience.
- W2 positions available $65-$70/hour + full benefits.
