SPECTRA is recruiting a creative and energetic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide ABA services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related Neurodevelopmental Disorders in a licensed facility school setting. The position works directly and indirectly with students ages 6-21 to decrease maladaptive behavior and increase coping skills. The BCBA is responsible for conducting assessments as well as developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). This position works collaboratively with other members of our school clinical team (OT, SLPs, Social Workers) and Special Education teachers to meet each student's individual needs. Supervision of RBTs is a required component of this position.
Primary Job Responsibilities & Overview (not limited to the following):
- Demonstrate a positive and interactive approach to client care that emphasizes the client, as well as the family and their involvement.
- Conduct assessments related to behavioral health needs and skill acquisition.
- Produce well written treatment plans and progress updates that explain the client’s strengths and challenges, program objectives, data, and future goals for treatment.
- Create recommendations for comprehensive treatment services.
- Consult and collaborate with SPECTRA Team members for treatment plans.
- Consult with and provide training for parents/caregivers and other service providers.
- Provide training and supervision to staff as well as RBT supervision.
- Adhere to SPECTRA’s clinical guidelines and standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to standards related to HIPAA and BACB.
- Demonstrate knowledge of, and have experience treating, a range of neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability).
- Communicate effectively, verbally and written, in person, by telephone, and via email.
- Maintain accurate notes, files, and billing documentation.
Requirements (Education/Certification/Experience):
- Master’s Degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or related field.
- BCBA Certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- A minimum of 1 years of applied clinical experience working with individuals with special needs, ranging in age from childhood to young adulthood.
- Possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with oral and written communication.
- Must work well with others, especially with a collaborative therapeutic team.
- Compliance with technology driven support and billing services.
This is a full-time, salaried position. The schedule is 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Willing to consider part-time.

Pay: $77,000.00 - $90,217.77 per year
