Job Description
We are seeking a caring and compassionate licensed social worker to join our team as a Clinical Supervisor. Reporting directly to the Clinical Coordinator, this position plays an integral role in the provision of clinical outpatient services in the areas of intake, case management, recovery housing, and peer mentor services. The Clinical Supervisor aids the Clinical Coordinator and the Program Director with program oversight, clinical services, scheduling, implementing best practices, and audit preparations.
Key Responsibilities
Promote a welcoming positive customer service culture for clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
Maintain oversight, coordination of services, and management of the daily operations of the outpatient, case management, and intake programs.
Assign work schedules, vacation/PTO monitoring, and adequacy of daily coverage of program staffing.
Create and/or update job instructional training materials for all clinical positions related to intake, case management, and outpatient programs.
Use outcome data to assist with managing staff and program performance.
Maintain and monitor client waitlist for all programs.
Assist with completing intakes and assessments utilizing the ASAM criteria to determine the appropriate level of care when needed.
Provide crisis support to therapists and clients as needed.
Maintain a brief clinical outpatient case load when needed.
Assist with developing, analyzing and maintaining core competency skills of all clinical staff.
Conduct weekly clinical case conference and supervision meetings.
Conducting weekly clinical staff meetings.
Update related clinical policies and procedures.
Conduct interviews with new clinical team members and assist with on-boarding.
Acquire and maintain all CEU, Adult CPR/First Aid, supplemental training, etc. as required by DWIHN, CARF, the State of Michigan, and MCBAP.
Maintain confidentiality pertaining to clients and client records that meet 42 CFR and HIPAA regulations.
Assist with office management duties as needed.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Master's degree in social work (required).
An LMSW license to practice social work in the State of Michigan (required).
A CAADC certification from MCBAP (required).
A CCS certification from MCBAP or ability to acquire a development plan within 90 days of hire (required).
Ability to conduct didactic and/or process groups.
Competency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Comfortable working with electronic health records.
Strong verbal and writing skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to meet Federal, State, and local criminal clearance requirements.
