Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Clinical Director
Guardian & Conservator Services, Inc. and the GCS Foundation, Inc. is a private fiduciary company serving peoples with disabilities in Salt Lake and Tooele County. We have an immediate opening for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker to serve as Clinical Director to oversee company Medicaid programs. Serving a diverse population of vulnerable adults who have a sever persistent mental health diagnosis and enrolled in our Salt Lake County Optum Behavioral Health Medicaid program. This is an administrative position with the expectation of supporting company case management programs and related client services.
Responsibilities Include:
Coordinating services with a dynamic case management team to ensure cohesion of services and delivery of quality care to clients.
Have the ability to apply a variety of assessment tools and be familiar with state laws and procedures for mandatory reporting for client safety.
Preforming Psychiatric Dx Evaluation, developing and reviewing detailed comprehensive treatment plans, treatment plan addendums, coordinating services with company’s community partners, psychotherapy, OQ® Measures and OQ Analyst®, C-SSRS and client safety plans.
Monitoring client’s progress with treatment goals and working directly with staff to ensure audit compliance with company contracts, including Medicaid
Directing supervisory responsibilities over SSW/case management for mental health/psychosocial assessments and program development for social skills groups and working with staff working through complex client situations
Timely completion of required documentation within company standards
Staff training and developing company internship program in partnership with the University of Utah Social Worker Program
Qualifications:
Master degree in Social Work and hold current LCSW licensing thorough DOPL, State of Utah
A qualified candidate will be self-motivated, have a proactive work style, positive work attitude, be attentive to detail, demonstrate strong customer services skills, strong PC skills (MS Office), adhere to company policy and procedure, and be willing to work as part of a dynamic team.
Must be able to obtain credentialing or already credentialed with Medicaid and Optum Behavioral Health
Current knowledge of Medicaid billing practices and clinical definitions as it relates to the Utah Medicaid Manual, CPT Codes, Assessments, Treatment Plans, Progress Notes, Case Management, Personal Services, The Golden Tread (linking the assessment, treatment plan and progress notes to client outcomes) and documentation and charting procedures (S.I.P, S.O.A.P., C.A.L.M.)
Minimum 5 years previous administrative experience preferred
