Positions Open:
- Full time: Alma, MI
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral issues and needs. Assessments used are FBA's, VB-MAPP; Essentials for Living; PEAK; ABLLS-R; AFLS;
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment findings.
- Implement and monitor behavioral therapy programs using applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral health strategies and interventions.
- Attend IEP meetings as requested by the caseload families
- Collaboration with other professionals, SLP's, OT's and case managers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment planning and recommendations.
- Advocate for clients with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Preferred - Willingness to oversee RBT's or BCaBA's and supervise fieldwork.
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to behavioral health and developmental disabilities.
- Strong skills in patient assessment techniques to evaluate client needs accurately.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy methodologies and applied behavior analysis principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and maintain documentation efficiently.
