Position Overview:
This role offers a highly specialized and rewarding practice for a Psychiatrist seeking to make a meaningful difference. You'll provide direct psychiatric care, including thorough assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and medication management for a diverse caseload.
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License (MD or DO) with no sanctions
Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
Current DEA certification and NPI number
Completion of psychiatric residency training
At least 3 years of psychiatric practice preferred
Experience with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or complex mental illness strongly preferred
Deep understanding of psychopharmacology, individualized care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Must meet all facility compliance standards, including credentialing, background checks, drug screening, and immunization requirements

- Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
- Standard 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule with a 1-hour lunch
- One day of telework flexibility available
- No required on-call responsibilities
