About Job
- Provide individual and group counseling to clients on a wide range of issues, including personal and mental health concerns.
- Conduct assessments of and development treatment plans for clients experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Connect clients with appropriate community resources and support services, such as housing assistance, food security programs and mental health treatment facilities.
- Provide training and information seminars to management or employee groups on mental health and well-being subjects related to the EAP Program.
- As needed, respond to workplace critical incidents to help mitigate the acute stress impacts to employees.
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Must hold a license in the state of Virginia
- Experience in assessment and crisis intervention techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with applicable laws and ethical guidelines
- Familiarity with EAP programs preferred but not required.
