State locations and specifics are subject to change as our hiring requirements shift.About the opportunity:The Genetic Counselor is responsible for all aspects of clinical hereditary cancer genetic counseling.What you will do:

Provide patient assessment and counseling, including: Obtain and review medical records, perform literature review, take family history, risk assessment, education, coordinate genetic testing, disseminate test results, assess mental and emotional status.
Provide referral to appropriate medical specialists and support services, and consult with referring health care providers.
Enroll appropriate patients in genetic research studies and investigational medical management protocols.

Must be HIPAA compliant

The posted salary range for this position applies to Colorado and may be adjusted based on geographic location.
