State locations and specifics are subject to change as our hiring requirements shift.About the opportunity:The Genetic Counselor is responsible for all aspects of clinical hereditary cancer genetic counseling.What you will do:
  • Provide patient assessment and counseling, including: Obtain and review medical records, perform literature review, take family history, risk assessment, education, coordinate genetic testing, disseminate test results, assess mental and emotional status.
  • Provide referral to appropriate medical specialists and support services, and consult with referring health care providers.
  • Enroll appropriate patients in genetic research studies and investigational medical management protocols.
  • Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
  • Must be HIPAA compliant

The posted salary range for this position applies to Colorado and may be adjusted based on geographic location.
