Responsibilities:** 10K SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE**This role is on a 6 week rotation for weekends. Monday – Friday for 5 weeks and on the 6th week you will work Sunday – Wednesday, with Thursday & Friday off, and work on Saturday.Join our compassionate team as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. In this rewarding position, you will provide guidance, develop treatment plans, and work closely with clients to promote their well-being and long-term success. Your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in fostering a positive and supportive environment for individuals seeking to overcome addiction.

Provide substance use disorder treatment services to patients according to the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation standards of care, policies, and procedures.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs, goals, and progress.

Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions to support clients in overcoming substance use disorders.

Educate clients and their families about substance use disorders and recovery strategies.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other counselors to coordinate care.

Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress.
Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills to support long-term recovery.
Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Bachelor's Degree
Completed certificate/degree program in addiction counseling or equivalent
Current and active license:

MN: LADC
CPR certification or attain within 30 days

Certification must be from The American Heart Association or The American Red Cross
Proficiency with technology and computer skills to document in an electronic health record system, attend virtual meetings, and manage Outlook emails and calendars
Must satisfactorily pass a state/license specific background check

Master’s Degree
Current and active license:
