About Job
- Provide substance use disorder treatment services to patients according to the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation standards of care, policies, and procedures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs, goals, and progress.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions to support clients in overcoming substance use disorders.
- Educate clients and their families about substance use disorders and recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other counselors to coordinate care.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress.
- Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills to support long-term recovery.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Completed certificate/degree program in addiction counseling or equivalent
- Current and active license:
- MN: LADC
- CPR certification or attain within 30 days
- Certification must be from The American Heart Association or The American Red Cross
- Proficiency with technology and computer skills to document in an electronic health record system, attend virtual meetings, and manage Outlook emails and calendars
- Must satisfactorily pass a state/license specific background check
- Master’s Degree
- Current and active license:
- MN: LADC
- Certification must be from The American Heart Association or The American Red Cross
- Willingness to obtain additional licensure per business need
- Must satisfactorily pass a state/license specific background check
- Independent Mental Health License: LMSW, LPCC, LCSW, LMHC or equivalent
