A school district in Minneapolis is seeking qualified School Psychologists to provide support within Special Education classrooms at the elementary and middle school levels. Positions are available on a contract basis for the current school year.

Location:

  • Minneapolis, MN
  • Assignments at elementary and middle schools

Position Details:

  • Part-time or full-time options available (25/26 hours)
  • Contract role for the current school year
  • Work directly with Special Education classrooms
  • District Para training will be provided to support your work
  • Schools experience required; para background is a plus
  • Multiple openings available: Two positions at one middle school (one serving as 1:1 support) Three positions at an elementary school (one serving as 1:1 support) Two positions at another elementary school (one serving as 1:1 support)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, provide psychological services, and collaborate with educators and families to support student success
  • Support special education staff and students in compliance with district policies
  • Attend training sessions to stay current on para support protocols

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience working in school settings required
  • Para support experience or background preferred
  • Completion of a supervisor reference check is mandatory for consideration
