Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate School Psychologist to serve students in Santa Cruz, California. This is a full-time, onsite position working collaboratively with school teams to support the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development of students across grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
Develop and implement evidence-based interventions
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
Support crisis response and provide short-term counseling as needed
Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
Requirements:
Valid California School Psychologist Credential
Current Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience in school-based settings preferred
Compensation:
Hourly rate is dependent upon experience
