A school district near Mesa, AZ, is seeking experienced School Psychologists to support elementary and K-8 students during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers three openings: two full-time (40 hours per week) and one part-time (20 hours per week), designed to accommodate caseloads across kindergarten through eighth grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Prepare detailed reports reflecting student needs and progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) discussions
  • Provide direct counseling and support services addressing students social-emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention strategies

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure applicable to the state of Arizona
  • Experience working within elementary and K-8 educational settings
  • Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and delivering related services
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork and parent engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining thorough documentation

Schedule and Work Arrangement:

  • Full-time schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some meetings scheduled before or after school hours
  • Option for hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of 50% onsite presence to support in-person student interaction and team collaboration
