A full-time school psychologist opportunity is available in an elementary school setting in Mesa, AZ. This contract position spans the current school year and focuses on serving one school with a K-12 caseload. The role centers on conducting standardized testing, evaluations, and reporting to support student success. Collaboration with the Student Support Team (SST) is a key component of this position.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current Arizona Psychologist license
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience working with K-12 students across various age groups
- Ability to conduct standard psychological assessments and evaluations
- Strong report writing and data interpretation skills
- Willingness to participate actively in SST meetings
- Ability to work full time (40 hours per week)
Location: Mesa, AZ (Elementary School)
Responsibilities:
- Administer standardized psychological assessments and interpret results
- Prepare clear and comprehensive evaluation reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff through SST teams to develop intervention plans
- Provide consultation and recommendations to support student educational and behavioral needs
- Maintain compliance with all district and state regulations concerning psychological services
