Job Overview What Youll Do:
As a School Psychologist, youll be an essential part of a multidisciplinary educational team, working with K12 students to support their academic success and emotional well-being. Your responsibilities will include conducting psychoeducational evaluations, participating in eligibility and IEP meetings, and developing strategies for students in both general and special education settings. Collaboration with teachers, families, and school staff is key to providing effective support and interventions. You will maintain clear and accurate records while ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications & Certifications (New Mexico Requirements):

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology

  • Valid New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) School Psychologist License

  • NASP certification preferred

  • Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
